Storm Water Run-off Issues

Some neighbors in and around our neighborhood have experienced flooding. From minor basment leaks to full costly flooding, there is a problem with stormwater run-off and no one seems to want to take responsibility. We have reached out to the developer, several builders and the Village of Clemmons. They all seem to know there is a problem, but no one will take steps to fix it. Basically, the new ordinance that was just passed to eliminate this problem applies to new developments, however- we are on the list of existing developments that will need attention. We just need to make sure that we are heard. If you have run-off problems, or even if you do not, it affects all of us in the long-run. Home property values are lowered due to the reputation of a neighborhood that floods when it rains, so we need to make our development a priority and get this corrected!

Thanks to everyone for your support! We have been actively working with Clemmons to address these stormwater issues. Please add your voice - visit www.clemmons.org and let the mayor and the town council know that stormwater problems need fixing.

Hello everyone! I also would like to thank the residents of Clemmons Crossing for getting involved with our storm water issues. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I live across from the Hartley's and have also been dealing with the flood issues for quite some time.

I look forward to meeting more of you and thank you guys for setting up the website!
